CHOSEN BUT NOT QUALIFIED

Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, ...Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Matthew 22:8‭-‬12 NKJV

God's offer of salvation goes to all people regardless of who they are and what they have. However, no one can enter into God's Kingdom to enjoy the benefits therein on His terms, there are conditions or standards everyone must meet. Your access into Heaven's banquet hall to partake of the blessings of God which He had freely provided is a question of HOW you come in and not WHY you come. It is for everlasting salvation and to inherit eternal life that God has invited everyone to come into His Kingdom. But then, there is no gate crashing. While everyone is expected to come as they are, it is also expected that no one should remain as he is. You must show the evidence of a transformed life before you can have a seat to sit and enjoy all the privileges and blessings of the Kingdom of God. The provision for your cleansing and transformation is free. Your wedding garment (the transformed life) that will qualify you to partake in the banquet is at the Door through which you must come in. Once you are determined to come through the Door of the Sheep which is Jesus Christ the Saviour, He will give you His garment of righteousness in exchange for your garment spotted with sin and iniquity. Frankly, no one can enter into the Kingdom of God except he is born again. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Is your garment white and spotless? Are you ready and prepared for the marriage supper of the lamb? It is a costly thing to deny yourself access to the Kingdom of God.
