THE GOD OF PLEASANT SURPRISE

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.” Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men. Daniel 2:46‭-‬48 NIV
As a child of God who is faithfully following and serving the Lord, your exaltation, promotion, and prosperity in life will not come by scheming, manipulation, or through any dubious or ungodly means. God has already destined you for the top and He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 1:3).
But then, you will have to wait for the physical manifestation in God’s own time and by His appointed ways or channels through which He has prepared for you to reach the top. When the time comes for your elevation, the Most High God living in you and working through you will single you out and make even the high and the mighty fall prostrate for you.
Therefore, let no situation or assignment no matter how tedious or onerous intimidate you. Never shy away or dodge any responsibility but remain focused on Jesus, trust in His grace and wisdom to lead you through the thick and thin in life. At God's appointed time, you shall be exalted, rewarded, and celebrated. There's still hope for the righteous to prosper and flourish even under an evil regime. May the Lord God uphold and strengthen you till your renewal comes. Good morning.
