THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMES THE WORLD

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” Numbers 14:6‭-‬9 NLT

Your previous knowledge of who God is namely, His nature, His purposes and His ways will determine your perception of your situation at present. If you know God to be the all powerful, faithful, trustworthy and reliable to keep His covenant and promises then, no situation or task will seem insurmountable and bigger before you to overcome and accomplish. The victory that overcomes the world is your faith in the living God through Jesus Christ. If you know and believe that the same God who did not spare Jesus Christ His Son but gave Him up to die in order to set you free from the bondage of sin and Satan, and who has led you thus far will not at this crucial moment abandon and live you stranded. If you believe God is able through Jesus to deliver you from every giant, silent every opposition you will surely overcome by His grace. So, as you set out this new week/day I pray the Lord will develop in you the same Spirit of faith and courage that was in Caleb and Joshua, may He help you to march on by faith into your promised inheritance to dislodge all the previous occupants and take full possession of the territories allotted to you in Jesus name.
